London's Humanoid raised $152M and became Europe's first pure play robotics unicorn
The Series A came with Bosch as manufacturing partner and Schaeffler as a 1,000-robot customer. The company's wheeled HMND 01 already ran an 8-hour autonomous factory shift.
London robotics startup Humanoid raised $152M at a $1.35B valuation, with Bosch as partner.
Humanoid, a London robotics company, closed a $152 million Series A on July 21 at a $1.35 billion valuation, led by Prime Movers Lab and backed by a named manufacturing partner in Bosch and a 1,000-unit order from Schaeffler. Total funding is now $270 million.
The number that matters more than the valuation
Humanoid's wheeled HMND 01 robot completed an eight hour autonomous factory shift, moving totes at 60 per hour with a pick-and-place success rate above 90 percent, running on the company's own KinetIQ AI stack. That is a concrete, checkable operational result, not a demo clip, and it is the number worth tracking rather than the $1.35 billion figure or the investor list.
Why a build studio cares
Industrial humanoid and wheeled robotics is moving from lab demo to actual production floor commitments faster than most AI hype cycles, and a $152 million round attached to a real deployment metric, not just a valuation, is a signal of that. Worth watching whether the 90 percent success rate holds up at scale once Schaeffler's units are actually running.
